With the fall season ending and winter approaching, soccer, tennis, volleyball, cross country and football have all come to an end.

Although for some athletes the end of fall sports merely means the beginning of off-season, for some seniors it means the end of their college athletic career. With the conclusion of each sports season also comes a time for recognition and acknowledgment to those athletes who excelled and led their teams throughout the year.

On Monday, Dec., athletes attended the fall sports recognition at the Best Western. At the ceremony Athletic Director Joe Zimmerman and the teams' coaches presented Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference awards, selected in meetings by all of the conference’s coaches. They also presented team awards, voted on by teammates.
