Cisco offers program for students

By Jessie Gorges, editor

Friends University students will get a chance to participate in a non-credit IT program. The six-month program will give students hands on experience in designing, installing, maintaining and operating computer networks.

The Cisco Networking Academy will prepare students for the Cisco Certified Network Associate, or CCNA, certification exam and other entry level IT careers. CCNA certification is a foundational industry standard for network technology careers.

Cisco is the leading provider in networking equipment and networking management for the Internet.
