While we like to think that our black dress is only to be worn for a special occasion, it can be coordinated with many outfits. Instead of letting your little black dress collect dust in the back of your closet, here are some tips on how to wear it for any occasion:
The interview outfit: It’s all about keeping it simple. Make sure your dress is close to  knee-length. Minimal accessories and minimal makeup show that you are mature and confident, and those shiny hoop earrings can distract the interviewer. Throw on a simple dark blazer and a high-waisted belt for a touch of style. Wear a sleek black shoe with a slight heel.

The wedding outfit: The wedding outfit is all about being classy. Don’t overshadow the bride by showing too much skin. Wear a satin blouse over your black dress. Accessorize with a high-waisted belt and a pearl necklace for a chic look. Add a black strappy stiletto.

The first date outfit: Figuring out what to wear on the first date can be a headache, but that black dress can solve all your problems. A short-sleeved shrug is the perfect addition to your dress. It gives you a tasteful look but gives you a chance to show personality. Color is your friend when it comes to the first date outfit. Add a bright colored scarf and color-coordinated heels.

The night out with the girls outfit: Trying to find that perfect outfit that will make all your friends jealous? That little black dress comes to the rescue once again. Wear skinny jeans under your dress to give you an edgy look. A leather jacket and matching knee high boots will give you a hip look and will let your friends know that you’ve kept up on your fashion magazines. This outfit is all about accessorizing. Fun earrings and a trendy scarf are perfect for this outfit.
