Ballot to offer choices beyond McCain, Obama

Huzzah! to Ashley Bergner for her opinion column exhorting our generation to think. We lack greatly in applying and analyzing the abundant information at our disposal. Sadly, the column itself succumbed to the bias spoken against. McCain and Obama are not the only two candidates who will appear on the ballot. At least six additional candidates garnered enough national ballot presence to win in the Electoral College. These include Ralph Nader, Bob Barr (Libertarian Party), Alan Keyes (America's Independent Party), Cynthia McKinney (Green Party), Charles Baldwin (Constitution Party) and Brian Moore (Socialist Party USA).

We must understand that limited choices do not offer true sovereignty. I am unaware of any presidential ballot that offers "no confidence/none of the above." Research the full spectrum of presidential candidates and political philosophies, not simply that which is presented to you as "option."  It's as if someone offered to a) break my leg, b) break my nose. I would have to choose c) no, thanks.

The following Web sites offer a less biased and complete approach to the presidential elections and candidates than that offered by large media outlets (CNN, MSNBC, etc). I encourage readers to use these as supplements to their own research.
