“It was fun winning,” said Taylor Doll, senior women’s distance runner. “I was glad I went out and competed. That's what I was told to do, so I did. My main focus has been on marathon training, and not so much the 10k, but it was a good experience for me.”
“I was very pleased with the meet and with the quality of competition,” said Matt Kennedy, Head Coach of Women’s Track and Field. "It is our goal to host a quality event that gives all athletes the best opportunity to be competitive."
Benning’s efforts during the ENDURO Classic earned him Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors. Besides finishing first in the Javelin Throw with a mark of 55.10m, Benning also finished fourth in the Shot Put with a mark of 13.81m, and placed 12th in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 37.60m.
The Falcons next track meet will be April 14 at Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif.
