Friends University women’s volleyball hosted Ottawa University and Central Christian College for senior night on Oct. 31 at home.

Seniors Jacke Bragg, Jessica McElroy and Holly Rutter took center stage to say an official goodbye as they prepare for the last season of volleyball before graduation.

The Falcons pulled in two more wins to stand strong at the No. 2 spot in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference with a record of 13-3 and 23-10 overall.

The Falcons dominated the court against Ottawa for the first of two matches Saturday. Friends won the first game with a score of 25-18 and the second game with 25-12. The third game of 25-14 ended the match and sent Ottawa packing.

A few hours later, the Friends women returned to the court for a repeat performance against Central Christian.

The Falcons garnered their second win in three games. The first game ended 25-17, the second game 25-13 and the third 25-9, sending the Central Christian team home shortly after Ottawa.

The next home match will be at 7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 5 against Sterling College, the No. 3 team in the KCAC.
