Friends University’s Student Government Association has announced candidates for the 2011-2012 Executive Council.

Candidates will give speeches at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in the Casado Atrium to give students the opportunity to learn more about the candidates.

The candidates for executive president are Chas Thompson and Samantha Weeks.

The other candidates are Kayla Loper, president of FACE; Gina Miller, president of Senate; Chase Billings, executive business manager; Hannah Pauls, executive publicist; and Jeremy Schrag, executive secretary.

Because no one is running for president of Falcon Student Organizations, the deadline to apply for that position has been extended to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.
