Chronicle poll shows opposition to housing changes

The Crimson Chronicle’s poll about student housing showed that most poll participants disagree with the changes that will be coming in the fall.

Sixty-six readers responded to the unscientific poll. Of those, 13 agreed with the changes; seven said that the changes give everyone an equal opportunity for housing; eight said they are willing to accept the changes but want more questions answered; 27 said the changes are too drastic in too short of a time; and 33 said they don’t like the changes and that they make no sense.

The changes involve streamlining the housing prices so that residents pay the same for the same size housing and limiting the number of students in each apartment, among other things. For more information, see the Chronicle’s news story.
